This is a rebuilding year for us. I have sold or am working on selling all my large hounds except Deamon. We are going to start running 13" hounds mostly males, I will keep one or two small females. I have just acquired a small K-Buck male (picture and Ped. later). I also have a small Otis male coming this spring. My Gracie hound and her two pups are sold, and my large Milly gype is for sale. I plan to keep 6 to 8 hounds when we get up and going again.

Burn Em Up Screamin' Demon

Demon is directly out of FC Condons Thistle Ridge Ace. He measures 13 1/2 inches tall. Demon is a little ball of fire, works hard and has no quit.

Cedar Lane Sly Dawg

Sly is a new addition to our kennel, he is the first 13 inch class hound I have ever owned. We are thinking about working towards a 13 inch pack. I don't have his full pedigree yet, but he goes back to FC Post Oak Little Nip Otis. I picked up sly from Rick Harvey at Cedar Lane Kennel, Sly has great hunt, a nice loud raspy mouth, and is a smooth easy little hound. Sly shows great promise. He was whelped August 2010.

MO-River Burn 'Em Up Gracie
SOLD Headed to Kentucky!

Gracie is a Great Granddaughter of FC. Greenwoods Blue Creek Bear on top, and Granddaughter to FC. Shorts Pro on Bottom. She is 13 7/8 inches tall, Gracie runs according to conditions. Like our Jim hound she has a huge nose and the brains to use it. Gracie is very close, clean and tight in her checks, without sacrificing hunt and her natural rabbit hound abilities. She has good hunt and also jumps her own rabbits. Next to my Jim hound, Gracie is my go to hound.

Burn Em Up Silly Milly

Milly is a very nice pup so far and shows tons of promise. She is one of the nicest looking hounds I have ever had. She will be close to 15 inches tall, should be medium to upper medium speed. She is still young and I am still evaluating her.
Burn Em Up Little Peach
Peach is out of FC Wright's Little Deacon, I acquired her from Larry McCoy Mo River Kennel, through Mike Quinn. Mike raised her to 7 months and got her started. Peach is going to be a 13" class hound, she is all business and already soloing at 7 months old. You can see a video of her soloing on our YouTube page listed on the right. I am very excited about this hound, she may just be my next real good one. I will post full pedigree when I get it back, and update the photo when she learns to stand.

Liz is out of Jim and Gracie. She should have a huge nose, good hunt and good line control. I bred Jim and Gracie for the sole purpose of getting smooth running hounds with control and hunt. Also a huge nose and brains. Both parents have all these qualities, so do most the hounds in the pedigrees. As you can see she still doesn't like to stand. She is 8 months old in this photo.

Sweet Pea is a litter mate to Liz above. She is started and hunts, sounds and looks just like her father Jim. I really like what I am seeing out of this little pup, I hope Liz starts as easy.

Rabbit Hunt in South East Kansas with Kansas Mike January 16, 2011

2010 Rabbit hunting, Sons first hunting trip.

This is my very good friend Rod, he is more family than friend. I have spent many a memorable day in the field with Rod. He has also been like a Grandfather to my son Epi, those two are good buds. Thanks for all you have done for us old buddy! Another Good friend, Kansas Mike on one of our weekly Monday hunts in late winter 2010. Late winter Kansas running grounds. Good place to watch the race go back and forth across the road. This is a dead end road very lightly traveled, running grounds on both sides.

Dick passed away Aug. 20, 2011, he will be sorely missed. Epi showing Molly at Eastern Kansas BC ARHA GD Pack, she got 3rd in the Pack and second on bench. This was her first time out.
